Takahashi group has been working on combinatorial approach, a high-throughput organic synthesis in the drug discovery process. Especially, we have focused on natural products having complex structures such as terpenoids, steroids, oligosaccharides, macrolides, cyclic peptides and natural product like scaffolds. These are attractive sources of diverse structures to study and identify pharmacological profiles for lead compounds. We extend this methodology to material science such as liquid crystals to identify suitable candidates with different properties. Our approach is mainly focused on a suitable synthetic strategy, template design in the context of target molecule diversity and state-of-the-art technology transfer. This brochure briefly illustrates the highlights of some of our successful results and strategy to meet the requirements of demand by following key points.
  1. Efficient synthetic strategy for library synthesis
  2. Efficient way of making building blocks
  3. Instruments support
  4. Analysis and purification method
